A Weekend in Miami, FL

Updated: Oct 31, 2023

People say that Manhattan is the city that never sleeps however I truly believe that Miami gives it a run for its money. Whether or not you've been to the popular city down South, you probably immediately think of neon colors, flashy clothing with cutouts and clubs. Lots of clubs. I went for a quick weekend and had the ultimate Miami experience. There's always events, parties, clubs and entertainment happening so whether you're a partier or not, there's something to do for everyone.

TO DO ...

Club Space: Located at 34 NE 11th St, Miami, FL 33132
LIV Nightclub (inside Fontainebleau Hotel): Located at 441 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33140
South Beach: There's tons of restaurants and boutique stores to check out as you're walking along one of the most famous streets on Miami.

TO EAT & DRINK ...

Bacon Bitch: Located at 1001 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139
This brunch destination has been on my list for places to go in Miami for a while! You can either wait in a (long) line to get seated or you can go to the bar area and order to go. They have an ultimate Pitbull and JLo playlist bumping in the background, incredible Bloody Marys and fun mirrors on the ceiling to take selfies while you wait for your food. It's a total Miami vibe.
Meet Dalia: Located at 640 Ocean Dr, Miami Beach, FL 33139
This restaurant is dubbed as having the best Mediterranean food in Miami. Though I haven't explored Mediterranean cuisine in Miami, I get why it has such a high rating. The drinks are delicious (and strong), the food is even better and the staff is very attentive.
Nikki Beach: Located at 1 Ocean Dr, Miami Beach, FL 33139
I went here for brunch and it was definitely an experience. If you can, make a reservation ahead of time because it's so popular on the weekends. If you're a smaller group (3 people or less) you have a better chance of being able to show up and walk in. It's more or less an outdoor compound with stations set up for food of your choosing. You also have the option of renting a lounge bed, however the beach is right across the street (for free).
