Binge-Worthy Shows

It's time to Netflix and chill, because what else is there to do? I've rounded up some of my favorite shows to binge because let's be real, you're on the couch in sweats anyway.

Sitcoms

  • The Office: My all-time favorite show. You can stream the entire series on Netflix. You won't regret it (that's what she said).

  • Friends: Another classic sitcom. Though it recently was taken off of Netflix (ugh), you can purchase episodes on YouTube & iTunes.

  • Schitt's Creek: This series just ended on PopTV and oh em gee it was perfect! Though you'll have to wait a bit to stream the last season, catch up on the previous six seasons on Netflix.

  • Grace and Frankie: This show is not for everyone since most of the cast is older, but it is hilarious and inappropriate at times. Not to mention, Jane Fonda and Lily Thompson are the perfect on-screen duo. Stream on Netflix.

Drama

  • Breaking Bad: Another all-time favorite, High School chemist turned Meth cook Walter White is one of the most bad ass characters you'll witness in a show. Watch the entire series on Netflix. It's science, duh.

  • Big Little Lies: Though this show technically started out as a mini series, you can watch the first two seasons on HBO. Unclear if there will be a third season, but the cast lineup is incredible. Also if you like to read, the book is really good too!

  • Dead to Me: Dubbed a dramedy, Christina Applegate's humor and sarcasm will have you laughing out loud. You can binge the first season on Netflix just in time for the second season coming out on May 3rd.

  • Game of Thrones: This show is a lot to take in but it's ah-mazing. You can watch the gripping series on HBO. Until then, you know nothing (John Snow).

  • Gossip Girl: Yup, I've watched the entire show three times and it's just as good every time. If you need a drama and NYC fix, Netflix has got you covered. Xoxo

  • Grey's Anatomy: You can stream this never-ending drama on Netflix. If you're feeling a little down, McDreamy should be able to cure you.

  • Jane the Virgin: This cute telenovela-inspired series is the perfect mix of drama, plot twists and comedy. Watch the entire series on Netflix.

  • Outlander: This is one of my latest binges and I haven't been disappointed. There's a good mix of romance and action (and gore), so it's a perfect binge for you and your S.O to watch together on Netflix.

  • Ozark: The third season just came out on Netflix, so you'll be able to catch up on all the action with Jason Bateman. If you're a fan of Breaking Bad, you'll enjoy this show as well (and vise versa). This show is so good!

  • Riverdale: If you're a fan of Gossip Girl and/or Pretty Little Liars, you'll enjoy this high school series! The latest season is airing on the CW, but catch up on the first three seasons on Netflix.

  • Sex and the City: A classic and fan favorite, this show never gets old! Catch up on the entire series on Hulu or HBO Now and you can watch both movies on Netflix.

  • Scandal: Kerry Washington as Olivia Pope in this series is one of my favorite characters ever. This show is the perfect mix of romance, twists and scandal (duh). Watch the entire series on Netflix.

  • Stranger Things: This is a show I wasn't sure if I'd like but hopped on the band wagon because everyone else was watching it (*peer pressure*). I would say that this show isn't for everyone, however if you're in need of some nostalgia (cue the Goonies) and supernatural nature, this is the show for you. You can stream it on Netflix.

  • This is Us: You will have all the emotions watching this series. This show touches on all aspects of life in heart wrenching yet beautiful ways. Available to stream the first few seasons on Hulu.

  • The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel: A stay-at-home mother in NYC turned stand-up comedian is one for the books. This quirky and comedic show touches social and historical moments in an artistic way. Available to stream on Amazon Prime.

  • You: If you're a girl and choose to watch this at home, I would keep the lights on. This gripping series will keep you on the edge of your seat and you'll fly through the first two seasons in a weekend (or is that just me?). Available to watch on Netflix.

Food

  • The Chef Show: This show started from...yup you guessed it - the movie Chef. Jon Favreau, who starred in the movie, also stars and hosts the culinary show with his friend, who's a celeb chef. The two travel around different restaurants cooking and chatting with the latest chefs and famous friends. I recommend grabbing a snack while watching because you will get hungry. Available to stream on Netflix.

  • Restaurants on Edge: With only one season so far on Netflix, this is a great show to watch if you have a day to lounge around. This show is a mix of The Profit meets an HGTV renovation show. Each episode takes you to a remote place around the world as you watch a down-in-the-dumps restaurant get flipped into it's best self.

Mini Series

  • Dirty John: Based on a true story, this star studded cast will have you shaking your TV. If you need something else to do after watching the show, I would recommend listening to the podcast, that's narrated by the real-life characters. Available on Netflix.

  • The Assassination of Gianni Versace: Considered season two in the American Crime Story series, this is a story not to be missed. Whether you're familiar with the real-life story of Versace's assassination, the show is worth watching. Available on Netflix.

  • Unorthodox: This series really crams a lot in just four episodes, but it's a journey that will stick with you. This show gives you a deep dive of what it's like to be as a woman in the Orthodox Jewish community in Brooklyn. Available on Netflix.
