24 Hours in Raleigh, NC

Updated: Aug 30, 2021

After working remote in Florida for over two months, we decided to head back up to New York! On our way back up the East Coast, we wanted to check out a new city and landed on Raleigh, NC.

Below is a 'To Do' guide in Raleigh:

Where to Eat

Flying Biscuit Café: Located at 2016 Clark Ave, Raleigh, NC 27605.

We went here for brunch and were not disappointed. Not only do they serve breakfast all day, but they have a great selection for everyone. We started out with Bloody Mary's followed by blueberry pancakes and pimento cheese fritters.

Mulino Italian Kitchen & Bar: Located at 309 N Dawson St #1313, Raleigh, NC 27603.

We met up with some friends here for dinner and it was the perfect spot for some Southern Charm. We shared a flatbread pizza and I ordered the Salmon & pasta special (which I am still drooling over). There's something for everyone on the menu and the prices are reasonable. You can enjoy some homemade pasta and a cocktail either indoor or outdoor spaces with views of a pool and beautiful chandeliers.

Where to Shop

Raleigh Vintage: Located at 18 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27603.

I stumbled across this hidden treasure on our way back to the hotel and I was so happy I did! The staff was so friendly and the store was filled with eclectic vintage pieces as well as newer items (both clothing and furniture). I found (and bought) a vintage Ralph Lauren denim top and a 1980s Burberry coat.

Father & Son Antiques: Located at 302 S West St, Raleigh, NC 27603.

Located in the heart of the Warehouse district, this was such a fun find! I've been on a thrifting and antique kick and this store had a bunch of fun finds. The staff was very helpful and there were great (and negotiable) prices.
